Selecting the television aspect ratio
[TV Output Size]
Select [16:9] or [4:3] according to the television you intend to connect.
From the Home menu, select [Settings]
[Video Settings]
[TV Output Size]
appropriate setting for the television.
Type
Description
[16:9]
Adjusts the video image size for wide screen (16:9).
[4:3]
Adjusts the video image size for normal screen (4:3). (Default
setting)
Switching the television signal format
[NTSC/PAL settings]
You can select the player’s video output signal. Select the signal format that is
appropriate to the television you intend to connect, if necessary.
From the Home menu, select [Settings]
[Video Settings]
[NTSC/PAL settings]

Outputs the video signal in NTSC format.
[PAL]
Outputs the video signal in PAL format.
