Emergency dialing.
You can place calls to 911 even if your phone is locked or
outgoing calls are restricted (see “Lock mode.” on page
74). As long as you’re within a Sprint PCS Service Area
(check your signal strength indicator), 911 can be dialed.

Note: Even if your account is restricted, you can still dial
911 (as long as you’re within your home service area), but
no other emergency numbers. Also, your phone allows you
to call 911 even if it is set to limit all outgoing calls.
