Feature

This connecting adaptor is suitable for use only with used Sony Portable CD/DVD
Player. To use this adaptor, Sony Car Battery Adaptor DCC-L50 (not supplied) is
needed.
Refer to the instructions supplied with the portable CD/DVD player or the car battery
adaptor.

Notes on use

• Do not short the terminals (1 in the illustration).
• Do not open the terminal covers (1 in the illustration).
• Do not allow dust to come into contact with the terminals (1 in the illustration) or

projecting guides (2 in the illustration).

• Do not touch the terminals on the connecting adaptor and the CD/DVD player.

Doing so may cause a malfunction.

• Never expose the connecting adaptor to temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F), such as

in a car parked in the sun or under direct sunlight.

• Keep the connecting adaptor dry.
• Do not damage the cord.
• Do not analyse or remodel the connecting adaptor.
• Be sure to connect the connecting adaptor to the specified equipment.
• When using the CD/DVD player in a car, place it on a stable surface.
• If you do not intend to use the connecting adaptor, detach it from the car battery

adaptor (DCC-L50) and the CD/DVD player.

Attaching to the CD/DVD player

1 Fit the hooks of the connecting adaptor to the holes on the bottom of

the CD/DVD player.

2 Slide the CD/DVD player forward in the direction of the arrow until it

clicks.

Detaching from the CD/DVD player

Unlock the connecting adaptor and slide the CD/DVD player.
Be careful not to drop the connecting adaptor.

Connecting to the car

1 Connect the car battery adaptor (DCC-L50, not supplied) to the cigarette

lighter socket.

2 Connect this adaptor to the car battery adaptor.

Notes

• When disconnecting the car battery adaptor from the cigarette lighter socket, be sure

to stop playback on the CD/DVD player. Otherwise, the adaptor or the CD/DVD
player may be damaged.

• If you connect the AC power adaptor to the CD/DVD player while using this

adaptor, "CHG" appears for a moment on the display window of the CD/DVD
player. This does not indicate a malfunction as this adaptor is not rechargeable.

• The car battery adaptor (DCC-L50, not supplied) is only for negative grounded cars.

Caractéristique

Cet adaptateur de connexion est conçu pour être utilisé uniquement avec un lecteur
CD/DVD portable Sony. Pour utiliser cet adaptateur, vous devrez utiliser l’adaptateur
de batterie de voiture Sony DCC-L50 (non fourni).
Reportez-vous aux instructions fournies avec le lecteur CD/DVD portable ou avec
l’adaptateur de batterie de voiture.

A Remarques sur l’utilisation

• Ne coupez pas les terminaux (1 dans l’illustration).
• N’ouvrez pas les couvercles des terminaux (1 dans l’illustration).
• Ne laissez pas la poussière entrer en contact avec les terminaux (1 dans

l’illustration) ou sur les guides en relief (2 dans l’illustration).

• Ne touchez pas les terminaux de l’adaptateur de connexion ou du lecteur CD/DVD.

Ceci risque en effet de provoquer un mauvais fonctionnement.

• N’exposez pas l’adaptateur de connexion à des températures supérieures à 60 °C,

comme dans une voiture garée en plein soleil.

• Laissez l’adaptateur de connexion sec.
• N’endommagez pas le cordon.
• Ne démontez pas et ne reconfigurez pas l’adaptateur de connexion.
• Assurez-vous de raccorder l’adaptateur de connexion au connecteur spécifié.
• Lorsque vous utilisez le lecteur CD/DVD dans une voiture, placez-le sur une surface

plate.

• Si vous n’utilisez pas l’adaptateur de connexion, débranchez-le de l’adaptateur de

batterie de voiture (DCC-L50) et du lecteur CD/DVD.

B Raccordement du lecteur CD/DVD

1 Faites coïncider les crochets de l’adaptateur de connexion avec les trous

situés sur la partie inférieure du lecteur CD/DVD.

2 Faites glisser le lecteur CD/DVD vers l’avant, dans la direction de la

flèche, jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un clic.

C Retrait du lecteur CD/DVD

Déverrouillez l’adaptateur de connexion et faites glisser le lecteur CD/DVD.
Veillez à ne pas faire tomber l’adaptateur de connexion.

D Raccordement à la voiture

1 Raccordez l’adaptateur de batterie de voiture (DCC-L50, non fourni) à

l’allume cigare.

2 Raccordez cet adaptateur à l’adaptateur de batterie de voiture.

Remarques

• Lorsque vous débranchez l’adaptateur de batterie de voiture de l’allume cigare,

assurez-vous d’arrêter préalablement la lecture du disque placé dans le lecteur CD/
DVD. Sinon, il est possible que l’adaptateur ou le lecteur CD/DVD soit endommagé.

• Si vous raccordez l’adaptateur d’alimentation secteur au lecteur CD/DVD tout en

utilisant cet adaptateur, “CHG” apparaît pendant quelques secondes dans la fenêtre
d’affichage du lecteur CD/DVD. Ceci est normal et n’indique aucun mauvais
fonctionnement, dans la mesure où cet adaptateur n’est pas rechargeable.

• L’adaptateur de batterie de voiture (DCC-L50, non fourni) est conçu pour des

voitures mises la terre négativement.

Funktionen und Merkmale

Dieser Anschlußadapter ist ausschließlich für tragbare CD/DVD-Player von Sony
geeignet. Um diesen Adapter verwenden zu können, benötigen Sie auch den
Autobatterieadapter DCC-L50 von Sony (nicht mitgeliefert).
Bitte schlagen Sie auch in der Bedienungsanleitung zum tragbaren CD/DVD-Player
bzw. zum Autobatterieadapter nach.

A Hinweise zur Verwendung

• Schließen Sie die Anschlüsse (1 in der Abbildung) nicht kurz.
• Öffnen Sie nicht die Anschlußabdeckungen (1 in der Abbildung).
• Achten Sie darauf, daß kein Staub auf die Anschlüsse (1 in der Abbildung) oder die

vorstehenden Führungen (2 in der Abbildung) gelangt.

• Berühren Sie die Anschlüsse am Anschlußadapter und am CD/DVD-Player nicht.

Dies könnte zu einer Fehlfunktion führen.

• Setzen Sie den Anschlußadapter nie Temperaturen über 60 °C aus, wie sie z. B. in

einem in der Sonne geparkten Auto oder bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung auftreten
können.

• Schützen Sie den Anschlußadapter vor Feuchtigkeit.
• Achten Sie darauf, das Netzkabel nicht zu beschädigen.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, die Bauweise des Anschlußadapters zu analysieren oder den

Adapter nachzubauen.

• Schließen Sie den Anschlußadapter ausschließlich an die angegebenen Geräte an.
• Wenn Sie den CD/DVD-Player in einem Auto benutzen, stellen Sie ihn auf eine

stabile Oberfläche.

• Wenn Sie den Anschlußadapter nicht verwenden wollen, trennen Sie ihn vom

Autobatterieadapter (DCC-L50) und vom CD/DVD-Player.

B Anschließen an den CD/DVD-Player

1 Setzen Sie die Haken am Anschlußadapter in die Öffnungen an der

Unterseite des CD/DVD-Players ein.

2 Schieben Sie den CD/DVD-Player vorwärts in Pfeilrichtung, bis ein

Klicken zu hören ist.

C Lösen der Verbindung zum CD/DVD-Player

Entriegeln Sie den Anschlußadapter, und schieben Sie den CD/DVD-Player in
die entgegengesetzte Richtung wie beim Anschließen. Achten Sie darauf,
daß der Anschlußadapter dabei nicht herunterfällt.

D Anschließen im Auto

1 Verbinden Sie den Autobatterieadapter (DCC-L50, nicht mitgeliefert) mit

der Zigarettenanzünderbuchse.

2 Verbinden Sie diesen Adapter mit dem Autobatterieadapter.

Hinweise

• Wenn Sie den Autobatterieadapter von der Zigarettenanzünderbuchse trennen,

achten Sie darauf, zuvor die Wiedergabe am CD/DVD-Player zu stoppen.
Andernfalls kann der Adapter oder der CD/DVD-Player beschädigt werden.

• Wenn Sie das Netzteil an den CD/DVD-Player anschließen, während dieser Adapter

noch verwendet wird, erscheint einen Mopment lang “CHG” im Display des CD/
DVD-Players. Dies weist nicht auf eine Fehlfunktion hin, da dieser Adapter nicht
aufladbar ist.

• Der Autobatterieadapter (DCC-L50, nicht mitgeliefert) kann nur in Fahrzeugen mit

negativer Erdung eingesetzt werden.
