Then, the LCD asks you
to choose a proper
contrast, if required.

à The automatic document feeder
seizes and pulls in the page.
For more information about resolution
and contrast, see page 3.1.
à The selected mode flashes. The
contrast is preset to AUTO.
For a normal document, it is not
necessary to change the contrast, and
you may skip this step.
à Each time you press RESOL. the
selected mode appears in the LCD.
