IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully before use.
2. To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse cord, plug or
appliance in water or any other liquid or place in the dishwasher.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when removing or putting on
parts and before cleaning.
5. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to Salton for examination.
6. The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by Salton
may cause hazards.
7. DO NOT use outdoors.
8. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
9. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
11. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall
outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to ‘OFF’, then remove plug
from the wall outlet.
12. To avoid overheating the motor, do not use the Grinder continuously
for more than 30 seconds.
13. Avoid contacting moving parts.
14. Before using, ensure there are no foreign objects in the Grinder.
