Clearing Paper Jams

Gently pull the jammed paper out of
the machine.
• If needed, turn the wheel on the
right side of the fusing unit to eject
the paper from the machine.
• Caution!
Do not use excessive force to pull
the jammed paper out. If the paper
tears and a piece remains inside the
machine, a service call may be
necessary to remove the remaining
piece.

Replace the drum cartridge.
• To insert the cartridge, align the
guides on the cartridge with the
runners on the sides of the
compartment.

Replace the toner cartridge and close
the print compartment cover. (Refer
to Installing the Toner Cartridge in
Chapter 1.)
