The altitude scale indicated by barometer hand “1” shows the maximum approximate altitude.
(Refer to “To know the approximate altitude”.)
(2) The barometer hands indicate the minimum atmospheric pressure for approximately 1
minutes and then automatically move to indicate the current atmospheric pressure.
When the watch is first used after purchased, a value of approximately 700hPa may be stored in
memory. It is the result of the function test made at the factory, and erase it from memory before
use. (Refer to “How to erase the minimum atmospheric pressure in memory”.)
If button
B is pressed while the 5-second interval measurement mode is used, it is canceled and
the minimum atmospheric pressure measured is displayed. To continue it, press button C again.
If button B is pressed while barometer hands indicate the minimum atmospheric pressure, they
move to indicate the current atmospheric pressure.
If button
C is pressed while barometer hands lndicate the minimum atmospheric pressure, the 5-
second interval measurement mode is started and the barometer hands indicate the current
atmospheric pressure.

How to erase the minimum atmospheric pressure in memory
The minimum atmospheric pressure in memory can be erased as required.
To record the minimum atmospheric
pressure obtained in a certain period
of time, the previous measurement in
memory should be erased before
making new measurements.
Press button C while keeping
button B pressed. A confirmation
sound beeps and the minimum
atmospheric pressure retained in
memory is erased.
Set crown “1” at the normal
position.
Press button C while keeping button B pressed.
