Getting Started
Samsung 2500 Series Battery Charge Indicator
The Battery Charge Indicator displays in the upper right
corner of the LCD screen and indicates four levels of charge.Three
solid bars (as shown here) indicate a fully charged battery.When the
battery charge level is low or empty, an empty Battery Charge
Indicator (no bars displayed) flashes on the screen.
Rapid Charging using the Dual-Slot Desktop Charger
To charge your battery in the most rapid method, insert the phone
and battery into the front compartment, and leave the phone off.
Using this method, a standard battery charges in no more than 2
hours, and an extended battery charges in no more than 3 hours.
Caring for the Battery
Use only Samsung-approved batteries, desktop and travel chargers.
These chargers maximize battery life and performance. Using other
batteries or chargers may invalidate your phone / battery warranty
and may damage the battery.
For proper battery care, please follow these guidelines:
• To avoid damage, charge the battery in temperatures that
range from 32°F to 104°F (0° C to 40° C).
• Do not use the battery charger in direct sunlight or in high
humidity areas (such as a bathroom).
• Never dispose of the battery by incineration (fire).
• Keep the metal contacts at the battery base clean.

Charging the Battery using the Optional Dual-Slot Desktop
Charger

1. Plug the power cord of the charger into a wall outlet.
2. Select one of the following three charging options:
• insert the entire phone (with battery attached) into the front
compartment of the charger
• insert a single battery (alone, not attached to the phone) into
the rear compartment of the charger.
• insert a single battery into the rear compartment and a
phone with battery into the front compartment.
When two batteries are in the charger, the batteries charge
imultaneously. If you charge the battery while it is attached to the
hone, the Battery Charge Indicator on the LCD screen activates.
completely discharged standard battery recharges fully in about 3
ours, and a fully discharged extended battery recharges in about 4
ours. Leaving your phone powered on during charging or charging
atteries simultaneously increases charging time. Leaving the battery
the charger once it is fully charged does not harm the battery.
green LED on the charger indicates a full battery charge.
