Danger of electric shock

Plug the hairdryer only into correctly installed power sockets rated to 230 V and 50 Hz.

Never immerse the hairdryer in liquid or allow liquid to penetrate the appliance's casing. Do
not expose the appliance to moisture or use outdoors. Should liquid happen to penetrate the
appliance's casing, unplug the appliance immediately and have it repaired by a qualified
electrician.

Never use the hairdryer near water in bathtubs, showers, sinks or other containers.
Placing the appliance close to water is dangerous even when turned off. Unplug the applian-
ce after every use. For additional protection we recommend installing a residual current ope-
rated device with a rated trip current of no more than 30 mA in the bathroom circuit. Ask
your electrician for advice.

Unplug the hairdryer in the event of malfunction and before cleaning.

Always unplug the power cord at the plug, do not pull on the cord itself.

Do not wrap the power cord around the hairdryer and protect it from damage.

Should the power cord be damaged, have the hairdryer repaired by a qualified electrician
before using it again.

Do not bend or crush the power cord; always position it so that no-one can step or trip on it.
Never pull the cable from the appliance beyond the red mark.

Do not use an extension cord.

Never touch the hairdryer, power cord or plug with wet hands.

Disconnect your hairdryer from the power supply immediately after use. The appliance is
only completely switched off when it has been unplugged.

Do not open or repair the hairdryer's casing.
Doing so may compromise safety and will invalidate the warranty. Have the faulty hairdryer
repaired only by an approved electrician.
