Accessory Settings

Ensuring Call Privacy

You can set your phone to sound an alert if
enhanced CDMA voice privacy is lost or regained
(check with your service provider to see if CDMA
voice privacy is enabled in your area). When voice
privacy is activated during a call, you will see a
message and

on your screen.

Setting position location

This setting allows you to share your location
information with network services other than
emergency services (911, 111, 999, 000, etc.) in
markets where service has been implemented.

Note:

This feature works only when your phone is

in digital mode. You do not have the option of
turning off the locator to emergency services.

Accessory Settings

Connecting to a TTY/TDD device

You can connect the phone to a TTY device for the
hearing impaired.

Note:

Enable TTY only when using the phone with

a TTY device.

Connect the TTY device to the phone.

Using a Hearing Aid device

You can reduce interference while using the
phone with a hearing aid device by activating the
phone's T-Coil HAC feature.

feature only when using the phone with a hearing
aid device.
