Volume/Scroll Key:

This key

is actually two keys (one up
and one down) that are used
to set volume levels and help
you navigate through menus
and the Phone Book. Press
the volume/scroll key to:

Adjust voice volume during
conversation.

Adjust ringer volume in
Standby mode.

Mute the ringer during an
incoming call.

Scroll through menu options.

Scroll through your Phone
Book.

Backlit Display Screen:

The

Display screen contains two
areas:

The top line displays icons
that indicate your phone’s
operating status (see “The
Top Line of the Display” on
page 12)
.

The lower area displays in-use
information such as the other
party’s number, the call timer,
the name and number of the
other party (if available),
Mute, Call Waiting, etc. Your
menus also display in the
lower area.
