54 Navigating Through Menus
Selecting a Character Input Mode
When prompted to enter text, the current text
entry mode will appear above the
key in
the lower right hand side of the display. There
are four text entry modes:

1: T9 Word
ᮣ
2: Alpha
ᮣ 3: Symbol
ᮣ
4: Number
To change the Input Mode, press then
the corresponding number on the keypad.
When entering text, use the indicated key to
perform the following text entry functions:
ᮣ
Press to cycle through candidate T9
word matches.
ᮣ
Press to insert a space.
ᮣ
Press to enter a period (.)and other
common symbols
