Keep the maximum polyphony in mind and choose your sounds carefully when
using Layer mode to play two sounds simultaneously, or when using the damper
pedal or applying effects.
You can use the following equation to calculate the maximum polyphony when
using different combinations of sounds and effects.
(60 – polyphony used by effects)
÷ number of sound oscillator = maximum
usable polyphony
Example 1:[PIANO 1/L] bank 1 (Grand Piano) is selected and reverb is on
(60 – 10)
÷ 2 = 25 (maximum usable polyphony is 25)
Example 2:[HARPSI/CLAV] bank 2 (Clavi) is selected and chorus is on
(60 – 3)
÷ 1 = 57 (maximum usable polyphony is 57)
Since the LP-350 is designed to turn off the oldest sounding notes and give priority
to newly played notes, currently-sounding notes will be interrupted when you
exceed the maximum polyphony.
