• Setting is available when the 4-line display mode, 3-line
display mode, Clock display mode, or Spectrum analyzer
display (Spectrum analyzer&Text type) mode which allows
text display. Refer to
<Display type select> (page 36) .
• If the selected display item does not have any information,
alternative information is displayed.
• Some items cannot be selected depending on the display
type and row.
• When selecting “Folder Name” while playing with iPod,
names will be displayed depending on currently selected
browsing items.
• If the iPod Control by Hand Mode is set to on while playing
the iPod, “iPod by Hand Mode” is displayed.
• If all characters cannot be displayed while playing with iPod,
the file number in the list is displayed.

Information display setting
You can customize the display of the Spectrum
analyzer display mode.

Select the source
Press the [SRC] button.

Enter Function setting mode
Press the [VOL] knob.

Enter the Display Setting mode and select the
Spectrum analyzer display mode
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.
Select “Settings”
> “Display & Illumination” >
“Display Select”.

Select the setting item to adjust
Turn the [VOL] knob and press it when the
desired item is displayed.

“Side Select” Sets the side part display for 4-line display mode
and 3-line display mode.
Text/ Icon/ Disappear

Sets the spectrum analyzer display for Spectrum

“Clock Select” Sets the Clock display for Clock display mode.

Make a setting
Turn the [VOL] knob.

Exit Function setting mode
Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second.

• To adjust the “Sub time” with “Home & Sub” selected for
“Clock Select”, select a city in advance using the
<Dual clock
city setting> (page 43) function.
