CLEANING THE LENS IN THE RELAY OPTICAL SYSTEM
If dirt appears on the image on the screen, clean the lens in the relay optical system
with the following procedure.
• The function of this camera is used to clean the lens in the relay
optical system. It is not to be used for extra-long exposures.
• Use of the function requires considerable power from the battery, and
it is therefore recommended that the AC adaptor be used with the camera
when cleaning the lens in the relay optical system.
Remove the lens.

Press in the card removal lever
and remove the compact flash
card.
• The function cannot be set in
step [4] unless the card is removed
from the camera.

With the Control dial lock button
pushed in the
direction, turn
the Control dial to the left to the
REC or
position.
