Intended Use
This mechanical weighing appliance is intended
exclusively
• for use as a bathroom scale
• for domestic use
It is not designed for commercial or industrial
applications.

CAUTION! Appliance damage!
• Never burden these bathroom scales with a weight
of more than 160 kg / 350 lb!
• Never place these bathroom scales close to heat
radiating appliances, for example, stoves.

• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical, physio-
logical or intellectual abilities or deficiences in
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

Placement
After you have removed all packaging materials:
• Place the bathroom scales on a flat and firm sur-
face. Ensure that neither the floor at the place it
is located nor the upper surface of the bathroom
scales are moist. Otherwise there is a risk of
slipping!
