Enjoying karaoke singing
Adjust the ECHO level

Press the ECHO key during playback to display the
karaoke OSD on the TV screen.

Press the cursor up/down (
5/∞) or Key Control
keys to adjust the level of echo.
An echo effect can be applied to the microphone
voice to make karaoke singing sound better.

Press within 5 seconds after
pressing the SHIFT key.

HIT MASTER icon
÷ Press the next key within 5 seconds of pressing the SHIFT
key.

Press the HIT MASTER key during playback to dis-
play the karaoke OSD on the TV screen.

Press the ENTER or HIT MASTER key to switch it
ON/OFF.
÷ The echo effect can be varied from 0 to 9.
÷ Press the Cursor left or right (2/3) key while the OSD is dis-
played to select another icon.
÷ To turn off the OSD, press the ON SCREEN key or CLEAR key.
÷ To exit from the KARAOKE mode, select the KARAOKE mode
ion while the OSD is displayed and press the ENTER key.

HIT MASTER function
The sound level of the vocal part of the disc is suppressed, so that it can be used in the same way as a KARAOKE disc.
÷ Press the Cursor left or right (2/3) key while the OSD is dis-
played to select another icon.
÷ To turn off the OSD, press the ON SCREEN key or CLEAR key.
÷ To exit from the KARAOKE mode, select the KARAOKE mode
ion while the OSD is displayed and press the ENTER key.
Depending on the disc, the suppression amount may
be smaller.
