Integrated Amplifier
The Krell KAV-300iL Integrated Amplifier is
power and control in essential form.
Delivering exceptionally musical sound
reproduction and an operational elegance
matched by few components at any price,
the KAV-300iL is an ideal component for
music enthusiasts seeking quality, perfor-
mance, and convenience.
With power output of 200 Watts per channel
into 8 ohms and 400 Watts per channel into
4 ohms, the KAV-300iL has tremendous
power reserves and provides high dynamic
headroom. Even the most demanding source
material is thus reproduced with decided
authority and transparency.
The power amplifier section incorporates
proprietary Krell driver and output transis-
tors. 12 devices per channel provide enor-
mous output current capability—far
beyond that of typical integrated ampli-
fiers.
The gain stages use Krell Current Mode,™
discrete Class A, direct-coupled, fully com-
plementary circuitry, further ensuring a
level of reproduction quality normally asso-
ciated only with the most expensive sepa-
rate components.
The preamplifier section features Krell’s
advanced Class A, direct-coupled circuitry
for superbly detailed music reproduction.
Preamp circuits are powered by a dedicated
supply with discrete voltage regulators.
The power supply features a
massive 800VA toroidal trans-
former. Extensive power sup-
ply filtering and decoupling
between stages assure low
noise and high stability.
Both balanced and single-ended inputs are pro-
vided, and Krell’s Theater Throughput™ mode
simplifies integration into home theater systems.
A convenient full-function handheld remote
control is supplied. The KAV-300iL thus comple-
ments superb sound quality with outstanding
operational ease and functional versatility.
