1. Unmount or safely remove the 2big volumes from your computer.
Do not turn off the 2big.
2. Insert a small, flat-blade screwdriver into the groove on the rotary switch and turn the
screwdriver to the left or right to select a different mode.
3. Remove the screwdriver from the rotary switch and use it to depress the confirm button.
The two drive status LEDs blink quickly to confirm the RAID mode change.
4. Reformat the disks. Please refer to the user manual on the LaCie Storage
Utilities CD-ROM.
CAUTION! Changing configuration modes destroys data stored on the 2big.
Back up data before following these steps.
CAUTION! Disks must be inserted correctly in the 2big before configuration can be changed.
