Using the setup menus

● Hold S SE EL LE EC CT T on the front panel until MAIN MENU / SPEAKER SETUP is shown on
the display.

● Use the / keys on the handset or front panel. Arrows on the display indicate
which key(s) can be used.

Speaker setup
SIZE
Accesses the SPEAKER SIZE sub-menu.
For all loudspeakers in your system (except a subwoofer) you must inform the
EXOTIK whether the speakers are LARGE or SMALL. These settings refer to the
frequency response of the loudspeakers, not to their physical size.
Standard EXOTIK
For loudspeakers that operate below 100 Hz, select L LA AR RG GE E.
For loudspeakers that do not operate below 100 Hz, select S SM MA AL LL L. Frequencies in
the audio signal that are below 100 Hz will be routed to a subwoofer, if present, or
any LARGE loudspeakers, if not.
SMALL FREQUENCY (EXOTIK+DA)
Select the operating frequency that your limited bass response (SMALL)
loudspeakers operate above. Frequencies in the audio signal that are below the
selected option will be routed to a subwoofer, if present, or any full-range
loudspeakers (LARGE), if not.
Options: 4 40 0 H Hz z,, 6 60 0 H Hz z,, 8 80 0 H Hz z,, 110 00 0 H Hz z,, 112 20 0 H Hz z
Default setting: 8 80 0 H Hz z
FRONT*
Large front speakers (full-range frequency response), set to L LA AR RG GE E.
Small front speakers (limited bass response), set to S SM MA AL LL L.
Default setting: L LA AR RG GE E
*For two-channel systems, use the FRONT item and set CENTRE, SURROUND and
SURROUND BACK to N NO ON NE E.
