• Disconnect input power by
removing plug from receptacle
before working inside Handymig
170i.
• Use only grounded receptacle.
• Do not touch electrically “ hot ”
parts inside Handymig 170i.
• Have qualified personnel do the
maintenance and troubleshooting
work.
Line Cord Connection
A three conductor line cord with a 15 amp, 240 volt,
three pin plug is factory installed. Connect this plug to
a mating grounded receptacle which is connected to
an appropriate power supply per the Wiring Rules and
any applicable local codes.
• This welding machine must be connected to a
power source in accordance with applicable
electrical codes.
• If there is any question about the installation
meeting applicable electrical code requirements,
consult a qualified electrician.
