PLAYING CD TRACKS IN PROGRAMMED OR

RANDOM ORDER

1. Programmed Play

You can make a program of up to 16

tracks in the order you want them to be

played.

1. Slide the FUNCTION switch to CD position. Make

sure the CD is stopped.

2. Press the PROG. button. The letter “ ”

will show and the PLAY/PROG. lamp will flash.

3. Press or to select the tracks you want to

program in the order you want.

4. Press the PROG. button to confirm. The letter

“ ” will show and the PROG. lamp will flash.

5. Repeat above steps 3 and 4. You can program up

to 16 tracks (the display will show “ ”, “ ” …

“ ” for program number 11 to 16).

6. Press to start programmed play. The PLAY/

PROG. lamp will flash.

NOTE:
1. Programming can only be done in STOP mode.
2. The programmed memory will be lost if the power is shut off or the CD door

is opened.

To cancel the current program

Just create a new program following the programming procedure.
To cancel Programmed Play
Press the STOP button, then slide the FUNCTION switch to TAPE position.

2. Random Play

To play the songs in random order

Press the RANDOM button in STOP mode or during playing, the set will play all

of the songs in random order. The floating symbol “ ”

and the current track number will show in turn on the display.
To resume normal play

Press the RANDOM button again, the player will start playing normally.
