Possible cause
Parental lock is activated.
a) The AV standard is set incorrectly
b) The AV signal is set incorrectly
In the Sound menu - other the item "Sound
via ..." is not set to "TV"
Wrong menu language set
Problem
The device cannot be operated
General problems with connecting external
devices via an AV input
No sound via the TV loudspeakers
All menus appear in the wrong language

Help
Deactivate the parental lock: In the TV
menu - Settings - switch off parental lock
or enter PIN.
a) Set the standard correctly
b) Set the AV signal correctly
If "Automatic" is set for AV standard or AV
signal, this can lead to faulty detection in
the case of non-standardized signals. Then
the standard and the signal must be set
according to the specifications in the
operating manual of the external device.
Change setting to "TV".
1. Press the INFO key while no menu is
displayed. The index appears.
2. Select the first entry on the first page
(1/3), if it is not selected automatically.
3. Confirm with OK. You are now in the
language menu and can select your
language.
