Modes of operation
TV mode
In initial installation and daily operation, the TV set is in TV mode. This is also
the case when none of the other modes of operation such as EPG, Teletext or
Radio has been selected. Each of these modes of operation has a menu, which
you can call with the MENU button and with some color button assignments.
Functioning of the colour buttons in TV mode
red: no function
green: call personal values/factory values for picture and
sound, save picture and sound values as personal values.
yellow: call last viewed channel. You can switch back and
forth quickly between two channels with this button.
blue: call programme info
(for DVB-T stations
(1 the EPG with the current station info is
called, see page 19).

If other languages are broadcast by DVB-T stations (1 the “Lan-
guage/Sound Selection” is displayed under the station display.
Call the Language/Sound selection with the green colour but-
ton and select with . Confi rm the setting with OK.
If DVB-T stations
(1 offer subtitles, “DVB subtitles” is displayed
under the station display. Call the setting for DVB subtitles
with the yellow colour button and select the options with

. Confi rm the setting with OK.

The index answers many questions, concerning your TV set. If you have a ques-
tion about the operation, you have direct access to it from the index.
This set is delivered in different variants. You can fi nd out what equipment your
TV has under the menu item “Integrated features”.

If you want to set a different format, press this button until the
desired format is selected or select the format with .

Moving the picture vertically
To reveal picture captions, the picture can be moved vertically
up and down with in the “Cinema” and “Zoom” picture
formats. The vertical moving of the picture is only possible
when the picture format menu is displayed and the appropri-
ate picture format has been set.
