and press q/g to enter.
“ ” and playback elapsed time at the
divided point blink for some time while
dividing.
Then, the playback stops at the
beginning of the latter half of the
divided file.

* Press STOP to stop the setting process midway.
* Divided files cannot be recovered.
* Files which were not recorded on this unit cannot be divided. (Music files cannot be
divided.)
* The locked file cannot be divided (“ ” is not displayed).
Cancel the lock to divide the locked file (➜ page 13).
* If there is only a little remaining memory left, files may not be divided.
* “Recording date”, “Recording start time” and “Recording time” for the divided latter half
of the file are automatically determined from the information of the original file. (As for
the divided first half of the file, only the recording time is changed.)
* When the battery indicator shows “ ”, you cannot divide a file.
