The hand scanner can also be used with the exclusive AC adaptor (not included / Model No. KX-FAN42).
You do not have to install batteries.
RED light FLASH
The batteries are weak. Replace with new alkaline batteries soon.
● If you continue to use the hand scanner in this condition, the scanned contents will be dark.

Light OFF
Press for at least 2 seconds until you hear a beep to
turn on the power.
➡ The power indicator will light red.
● If you do not operate for about 3 minutes after you turn on the power, it
will turn off automatically. (AUTO POWER-OFF feature)
To turn off the power
➡ Press for at least 2 seconds until you hear a beep.

Shows the amount of scanner memory being used.
NOTE:
● When the scanner memory becomes full, you cannot scan new contents.
➡ Delete the contents memorized in the scanner (see the back cover page).
● The contents memorized in the scanner will not be deleted even when you turn off the power, or when the batteries run out.
