9.2.4.3. R62 – OVERVOLTAGE

• (no battery)
• Set the Current Selectors to zero and set the Cell Selector to 20

(1.75V/cell)

• Connect an external voltage source (Power Supply or CAL-100) to

simulate the battery voltage, set at approximately 34V.

• Start the Charger-Analyzer in either of the Charge modes and

adjust this trimpot for an Overvoltage charge cut-off at 35.0V
±0.1V.

9.2.5. POWER

There are no adjustments in the Power circuit board, but the following voltages
must be measured at the card edge connection fingers (bottom), using a standard
digital voltmeter referenced to pin 14.

9.2.5.1. PIN # * VOLTAGE

• 10 to 11 * 36VAC (" 2V nominal, line dependent).
NOTE: 10 to 14 or 11 to 14 will read ½ the total voltage (18V,

nominal).

• 12 * 12V"B" (11.4V "0.6V).
NOTE: This is a battery backed-up source. During a power failure,

the voltage will drop to the backup battery voltage minus 0.6V
(approximately 7.8V for a 7 cell battery or 9.0V for an 8 cell
battery).

• 13 * COMMON (not chassis ground or battery negative!).
• 14 * COMMON (not chassis ground or battery negative!).
• 15 * +15V (+15.0V "0.75).
• 16 * -15V (-15.0V "0.75).
• 17 * 9V Battery (8.4V to 9.6, nominal for 7 or 8 cell batteries

respectively).

• 18 * 18V (17V +1, -2V nominal, line dependent).
• 21 * Timing pulse, twice the line frequency and about 11V and

1ms duration (will read 1.2V +0.1V, -0.2V with a DC meter)

• 22 * 12V"A" (11.4 "0.6V).
