Playback
Mosaic-like noise appears
during rapid forward or
rapid reverse playback.
• This phenomenon is characteristic of digital equipment. It is not a
sign of trouble.

No playback pictures
appear even though the TV
set is connected properly.
• Is the input selector on the TV set at the “video input” position?
Carefully read the instructions accompanying the TV set, and select
the connected video input connector.

No playback sound is heard
from the unit’s speaker.
• Has the unit’s volume level been turned down too low? Press the
AUDIO MON/VAR “+” button, and adjust the volume level.
