Controlling TV program access
The Parental Lock feature lets you control the type of TV programs that can be accessed
with the built-in program ratings based on age and content.
Accessing Parental Lock

Lock.

button to select Parental Lock.
If you are using Parental Lock for the first
time, you must enter the default code 0711.

Press the number buttons (0-9) to enter
the code.
If you see “Incorrect” below the code you
have just entered, press the numbers again.
If you see “Correct”, the TV will display the
Parental Lock menu and highlight the item
“Lock Channel”.

button to select Lock Channel.

channel number that you want to lock.

button to confirm locking the
channel. A S symbol appears next to the
channel number shows that it is locked. To
unlock, press

button again. The S symbol
