The contents of a USB device cannot be read.

Ensure that the format of the USB device

is compatible with this home theatre .
Ensure that the USB device is formatted

with a À le system that is supported by
this home theatre (note that NTFS is not
supported).

I do not want my home theatre to be
switched on when I switch on my TV.

This is the correct behaviour for Philips

EasyLink (HDMI-CEC). To make the
home theatre work independently, turn
EasyLink off (see ‘Enable and disable
EasyLink’ on page 26 ) .

I cannot access BD-Live features.

Check the network connection or

• ensure

that the network has been set up (see
‘Connect to the Internet’ on page 14 ) .

Clear local storage. (see ‘Clear local
memory’ on page 28 )
Ensure that the Blu-ray disc supports BD-

Live features.

No sound on HDMI connection.

If the connected device is not HDCP-

compliant or is only DVI-compatible, you
cannot transmit sound through an HDMI
connection. Use an analogue or digital
audio connection.
Make sure that the

[HDMI Audio] setting

is turned on.

Play

Distorted sound or echo.

Ensure that the TV volume is muted or

set to minimum if you are playing audio
through the home theatre.

DivX video À les cannot be played.

Ensure that the DivX À le is encoded

according to the ‘Home Theatre ProÀ le’
with the DivX encoder.
Ensure that the DivX video À le is

complete.

DivX subtitles do not display correctly.

Ensure that the subtitle À le name is the

same as the movie À le name.
Select the correct character set:

1) Press OPTIONS . 2) Select
[Character Set] . 3) Select the supported
character set. 4) Press OK .

EasyLink feature does not work.

Ensure that the home theater is

connected to a Philips brand EasyLink TV
and that EasyLink is on (see ‘Enable and
disable EasyLink’ on page 26 ) .

‘No entry’ sign appears on the TV.

The operation is not possible.
