Ringer Volume

You can set the handset and base unit ringer volumes to high, medium, low, or off
for each line. The factory preset for both lines is HIGH.
If the handset or base unit ringer is turned off for both lines, the handset or base unit
will ring at the low level for intercom calls, and will not ring for outside calls.

Handset ringer volume

If the handset ringer is turned off for a line, the handset displays “Ringer off

and the line number while the handset is not in use. If there are new messages,
Ringer off” will not be displayed.

You can also adjust each line’s ringer volume while the line is ringing. Press [d] or

[B] while the handset is ringing.

Press [MENU].

Scroll to “Ringer setting” by pressing
[d] or [B], then press the soft key (

).

Press the soft key (

) at “Ringer

volume”.

Press [d] (Line1) or [B] (Line2) to select

the line.

Select the desired volume by pressing [d] or
[B].

The volume will change and ring.
The number of steps indicates the volume level.
• To turn the ringer off, press [d] repeatedly until

To change the ringer tone, press the soft key

). Select the ringer tone by pressing

page 26, step 5.
