Lubrication

Lubricate the suspension and steering components with Polaris

Premium 4 all season grease annually or about every 1000 miles

(1600 km). See page 113 for the part numbers of

Polaris-recommended products.
The illustration shows the location of suspension and steering

components. A + indicates a grease point or fitting.

Grease the left and right spindles. Raise the front end of the ma-

chine to permit better grease entry into the spindle area.

Lubricate both of the front ski pivots at the fittings as shown.

Grease the jackshaft and driveshaft clutch side bearings.

S

Use an aerosol lubricant on the steering post support bracket.

S

Grease the center steering arms.

S

Grease the steering post lower pivot.

S

Grease the rear suspension pivot shafts (raise the rear of unit).

A grease gun kit, complete with grease and adaptors, is available to

lubricate all fittings on Polaris snowmobiles. See page 113.
