Quick Start
A few seconds after turning on the unit, you can start recording to
DVD-RAM.
Power consumption in standby mode increases when Quick Start
is set to “On”. The unit performs self maintenance for a few
minutes every morning starting at 4:00 am. The unit's buttons,
including [POWER

^/I], do not work during this process. (Self

maintenance does not start if the unit is on or if a scheduled
recording covers this time.)
