BACKLIGHT CONTROL
True-to-Life Picture with Crisp Blacks
This system adjusts the backlight brightness and contrast
according to the scene. In dark scenes, the backlight intensity is
reduced to as little as 1/7 the level of our previous model (LX30) to
reproduce deeper blacks.

Afterimages (hold time) in moving pictures have been reduced
by about 50% compared with our previous model (LX30).
This minimises motion blur and provides smoother, sharper
reproduction of fast-moving images. VIERA LCD is ideal for
viewing action movies or watching cricket games, football
games, and broadcasts of other sports events.
New interpolation frames are created based on two adjacent frames and inserted between them.
