POST GAIN SWITCH — CRUNCH CHANNEL (21)
Controls the overall volume level of the Crunch channel. The final level adjustment should be made after the
desired sound has been achieved.

INDICATOR (22)

Illuminates yellow LED when DDT Compression is taking place.

DEFEAT SWITCH (23)

DDT power amp compression is defeated when the button is in the “in” position.

Note: When DDT is defeated there is a greater chance of loudspeaker damage since power amplifier
clipping can occur.

RESONANCE CONTROL (24)
Used to fine tune speaker enclosure low-frequency response by varying the damping factor at low
frequencies.

PRESENCE CONTROL (25)
Used to fine tune speaker enclosure high-frequency response by varying the damping factor at high
frequencies.

STANDBY SWITCH AND GREEN LED (26)
In the standby position the green LED is off indicating the amplifier is not operational. In the on position the
green LED is illuminated indicating the amplifier is operational. In the Standby mode the tubes remain hot
but the amplifier is not operational.

POWER SWITCH AND RED LED (27)
The power switch is used to turn power to the amplifier on and off. The red LED will illuminate indicating
power is being supplied to the DC power supply.

MAINS FUSE HOLDER (28)

WARNING: THE FUSE SHOULD ONLY BE REPLACED WHEN THE POWER CORD HAS
BEEN DISCONNECTED FROM ITS POWER SOURCE.

CAUTION: USING A FUSE LARGER THAN THE RECOMMENDED SIZE COULD
RESULT IN PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.

The fuse is located within the cap of the fuseholder. If the fuse should fail, IT MUST BE RE-
PLACED WITH THE SAME TYPE AND VALUE IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE
EQUIPMENT AND TO PREVENT VOIDING THE WARRANTY. If the unit repeatedly blows
fuses, it should be taken to a qualified service center for repair.

LINE CORD—120 V products only (29)

For your safety, we have incorporated a 3-wire line (mains) cable with proper grounding facilities.
It is not advisable to remove the ground pin under any circumstances. If it is necessary to use
the equipment without proper grounding facilities, suitable grounding adaptors should be used.
Less noise and greatly reduced shock hazard exists when the unit is operated with properly
grounded receptacles.
