Use one of the below methods to exit Smart Start mode:
Perform the same steps you followed to activate Smart Start mode •
Turn the ignition On •
Press the brake pedal •
The parking lights flash 5 times slowly to confirm the remote has exited Smart
Start mode.

Turning on the rear defogger
The optional rear defogger may be programmed to automatically activate
when remote start is turned on. If the interior cabin temperature is above 55˚ F
the defogger will not activate.
To manually activate the rear defogger after remote start is on:
Press • four times, and then press
A U X
. The parking lights flash 3 times
to confirm the defogger activation.
During the next remote start activation, the defogger activation resumes
normally.
