Taking 3D pictures
With the two lenses built into this unit, you can record 3D pictures.
•
To achieve good a 3D effect, we recommend that you record with the distance to
the subject set as follows. Outside this range, left-right distortion increases and
may prevent the 3D effect being achieved at the edges of the image.

Approx. 90 cm (2.96 feet) (Wide)/Approx. 3.4 m (11.2 feet) (Tele) to

Set the 3D/2D switch to [3D].
Aim the AF area at the point you want to focus on.
Press the shutter button
halfway to focus.

Be careful not to get too close to
the subject.

Make sure that your fingers are not
over either of the lenses.

The focus indication

Press the shutter button fully
(push it in further), and take
the picture.
Pay attention to the following points when 3D picture recording.
•
Where possible, record with the unit in a horizontal state.
•
Be careful not to get too close to the subject.
•
Be careful not to shake the camera while in a vehicle or walking.
