You can set the LCD monitor to turn off automatically when no operation
is performed for a fixed time.

Select [Sleep Timeout] on the [ B Set-up] menu.

Press the four-way controller (5).
The pull-down menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [2 min],
[1 min], [30 sec] or [Off].

Press the Q Playback button.
The camera is ready to play back images.
Sleep Timeout
This function will not work when playing a slideshow, movie, or voice
memo, or when the USB cable is connected.
