¶ To clear Title, Chapter, and Time indications when they are
flashing, press the CLEAR button twice.
¶ For some discs, selection can be made using the menu.
In this case, press the MENU button while the indicator is
displayed, display the menu screen and make your selection.

When the chapter/track number

Press CHP/TIME button.
¶ Chapter/track numbers flash on screen.
¶ On DVDs, the menu may be displayed during the stop mode.
In this case, please refer to “Chapter Number Search with the
menu” on the right.

Select chapter numbers directly with
the number buttons.
Example 1: When selecting chapter/track number 31,
press 3 → 1 button.
Example 2: When selecting chapter/track number 187,
press 1 → 8→ 7 button.

Press PLAY button.
¶ Playback of the selected chapter/track starts.

Search can be engaged two ways: By pressing the
direct number buttons, or by pressing the chapter/
track button and then pressing the number buttons.
