• The aspect ratio is the horizontal to vertical ratio of a picture. Refer to P69 for the aspect

ratio.

• If you select a larger picture size, you can print pictures more clearly. When you select a

smaller picture size, you can record more pictures. (P70)

• “EZ” is an abbreviation for [Extended Optical Zoom]. This is a function which further

extends the optical zoom ratio. If you select a picture size with EZ displayed, the zoom
ratio is extended to a maximum of 4.1

k when the digital zoom is set to [OFF]. (P71)
