• Place the Set Top Box on a firm, flat surface.
• Keep the Set Top Box away from heating equip-
ment and direct sunlight.
• Do not stack other equipment on top of your Set
Top Box.
• Do not put anything that could spill liquid on
top of the Set Top Box.
• Keep one inch of free space around the Set Top
Box for adequate ventilation.
1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert two AA batteries, positioned as indicated,
inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the cover.
Inserting batteries into the keyboard:
1. Open the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert four AA batteries, positioned as indicated,
inside the battery compartment.
3. Close the cover.
CAUTION
DO NOT MIX OLD AND NEW BATTERIES, AND
NEVER MIX DIFFERENT TYPES OF BATTERIES
(STANDARD, ALKALINE, OR NICAD).
