Introduction
The information in this document summarizes compatibility for software
releases and individual hardware products for Nortel Communication Server
1000 and Meridian 1 systems.
Subject
This technical document provides an overview of the Communication
Server 1000 library. It lists the library’s contents and explains how the
library is organized.
The Library Reference contains the following chapters:
• Introduction : Provides background information on the Communication
Server 1000 library and its components, including information on order
numbers.
• Documentation changes for CS 1000 Release 5.5 : Provides a list of
the technical documents introduced in CS 1000 Release 5.5 and a list
of technical documents renumbered and with title changes in CS 1000
Release 5.5.
• Library packages : Provides information on the documents contained in
the CS 1000 Release 5.5 library packages, including technical document
numbers, and issue numbers.
• CS 1000 Release 5.5 technical document library listing : Provides a
detailed listing of the technical documents contained in the CS 1000
Release 5.5 library.
• User Guide and Quick Reference Card listing : Provides a list of the
available User Guides and Quick Reference cards.
• Merged/retired technical documents : Provides a listing of all technical
documents that have been merged or retired, up to and including CS
1000 Release 5.5.
