Vent lengths that pass through unheated spaces (at-
tics, garages, crawl spaces) should be insulated
with the insulation wrapped in a protective sleeve
to minimize condensation. Objects placed in front of the fireplace must be kept
a minimum of 48" away from the glass front faces of
the unit.
