—you have set an alarm.

—your device is connected to another device through a

USB cable.

The presence icon—your presence status. To change the
presence settings, tap the icon. It is visible only after you
have created an account for internet call and instant
messaging services. The icons are the following:

you are online

you are away

your status is not shown to others

you are offline

—the level of display brightness. To adjust the display

settings, tap the icon.

—the volume level. The more bars there are, the higher

the volume. To adjust the master volume and other sound
settings, tap the icon. When the sounds are muted,

is

displayed. When you are connected to an external
Bluetooth headset,

is displayed.

The internet connection icon—the status and type of the
internet connection. To open and close an internet
connection, and to change connectivity settings, tap the
icon. The icons are the following:

active WLAN connection

active ad hoc WLAN connection

active packet data connection through an external

device (for example, GPRS)

active a data call connection through an external

device (for example, GSM data call)

no internet connection is available

the device is in the offline mode where no

connections are allowed

—battery charge level. The more bars there are, the

higher the charge level. To view the estimated battery
time, tap the icon.

—a Bluetooth connection to an external device is active,

and

that the Bluetooth feature is on, but there is no

active connection at the moment.

The GPS icon—indicates the use of GPS location data. To
configure GPS location settings, tap the icon. The icon is
visible only when the internal GPS receiver is on. The icons
are the following:

satellite signals found and your location is known

satellite signals not found and your location is

unknown

satellite signals are being searched for

—there are new software updates or additional

additional applications available for the device.
