Phone settings
To access this menu: Press
Menu
in standby mode, and select
Settings
and
Phone
settings
. Select
•
Phone language
to select the language for the display texts. If you select
Automatic
, the phone selects the language according to the information on
the SIM card.
•
Memory status
to view the total amount of free and used shared memory and
the amount of memory used by different functions.
•
Automatic keyguard
to set the keypad to lock automatically after a certain
length of time when the phone is in standby mode. See also
.
To activate the automatic keyguard, select
On
and set the time after which the
keypad is locked. To deactivate the automatic keyguard, select
Off
.
When the keyguard is on, calls may be possible to the official emergency number
programmed into your device.
•
Cell info display
to set the phone to indicate when it is used in a cellular
network based on the Micro Cellular Network (MCN) technology (network
service).
•
Welcome note
to define a note that is shown briefly when the phone is
switched on. To save the note, press
Options
and select
Save
.
•
Operator selection
to set the phone to automatically select a cellular network
that is available in your area (
Automatic
) or to select the desired network from
a list (
Manual
).
