2. Using your mobile phone, search for other Bluetooth devices.

The navigation device is detected as NAVIGON.

3. Initiate a connection to the detected NAVIGON device.

The mobile phone prompts you to enter a password.

4. Enter a four-digit password (user-defined).

The NAVIGON 81xx prompts you to enter a password.

5. Enter the same password in the Key box as on the mobile phone

and tap on OK.

window opens. A connection is

established between the two devices. The name of the connected
mobile phone is displayed at the bottom edge of the screen.

7.6.3

Terminating the connection and deleting the connection
data

You can terminate the connection between the NAVIGON 81xx and the
mobile phone at any time.

Note: You don't need to terminate the connection manually. The
connection is terminated automatically when the mobile phone is moved
a distance of approximately10 m from the NAVIGON 81xx. In this case
the connection data are saved so that the connection can be restored
automatically when the mobile phone is close enough to the
NAVIGON 81xx again.

BT window, tap on Connection with Mobile

Phone > Clear Connection Data.
You will be prompted to confirm that you want to terminate the
connection.

2. Tap on the OK button.

Note: After the connection is terminated, the NAVIGON 81xx is no
longer able to establish an automatic connection to a mobile phone,
including the same mobile phone as for the last connection.
You must establish the next connection to a mobile phone manually
(refer to chapter "Connection with Mobile Phone" on page 57).

8 Music

The NAVIGON 81xx can play back audio files which have been saved
on the memory card with the navigation application.

Note: Listening to music too long and too loud can damage your
hearing. Do not hold the loudspeaker of the NAVIGON 81xx directly
against your ear!
