LAN Mode (Optional)

NOTE: The optional LAN card (GT50LAN) is required for LAN connection.

Start the projector and set the LAN card settings.
Select "Advanced Menu", "Projector Option", then "LAN Mode".
The following menu will be displayed on the screen.
Please ask a network administrator about these settings.

Network Board (Option):

Checking this box will enable the LAN control of the projector from
the network.

Status:

This displays the status of the LAN card that is installed in the pro-
jector.

Connecting .......... Installation of the LAN card is being checked. Once the

LAN card has been detected, the status will change to
"Running".

Running .............. This is the normal condition. (The LAN card has been

detected.)

Connection Error . The installed LAN card cannot be detected. Possibly the

LAN card is not installed, or the LAN/PC CONT switch is
not set correctly.

IP Address:

This sets the IP address of the LAN card
At the same time, this sets the sub net mask of the Local Area
Network being used by this LAN card.

Setting Examples

NOTE: This device makes use of a method that specifies the number of
valid bits in the sub net mask expression.

(1) IP = 10.0.0.1

sub net mask = 255.0.0.0

→ 010.000.000.001/08

(2) IP = 128.1.0.1

sub net mask = 255.255.0.0

→ 128.001.000.001/16

(3) IP = 192.9.200.1

sub net mask = 255.255.255.0

→ 192.009.200.001/24

(4) IP = 210.145.129.145

sub net mask = 255.255.255.240

→ 210.145.129.145/28

Port

This sets the TCP port number when connecting from the control
software. Please be careful not to duplicate another TCP port on the
controller.

Default Gateway

Checking this box will make the set default route valid.
When data is sent from the LAN card, the transfer location will be
searched according to the previously set routing information; how-
ever, when the transfer location has not been found as a result of the
search, the data will be sent to the device that holds the IP address
set here. The IP address that is set here must be one that can be
identified by a search of the routing information.

OK Button

This button sets the LAN card with the setting values that appear on
the screen and closes the screen.

Cancel Button

This button cancels the setting values that appear on the screen
and closes the screen.

Reconnect Button

This button rechecks the LAN card with the setting values that ap-
pear on the screen.
It is used when a "Connection Error" or another fault occurs.
