Open the ‘Color Management’
window as shown in here.
To open select from toolbar – Tools -
Color Management… Note: You must
have an image or blank page on-screen to
select this option.

Here we will configure Corel’s default
colour space and ICC Profiles.

First, all the (Orange/Grey) arrows
need to be set as shown. To change the
colour of the arrows (Orange colour
switched on – Grey colour switched off)
just click on the arrow itself.


The green arrows and numbers
correspond to each phase of the setup
process.

Printing to the Ricoh GelSprinter GX7000 Printer using the

Sublimation ICC Colour Correction Profile in Corel.

To configure Import-Export Settings - Click on the image of the paper to

open the ‘Advanced Import/Export Settings’ window (Fig.2). This
configures how Corel handles files that are imported and exported.

In the import section, select ‘Always convert using’ shown at point

Fig.2 then choose ‘Internal RGB – Fraser (1998)’ from the drop down menu.

In the export section, select ‘Always convert using’ shown at point

Composite Printer settings: Select the ICC printer profile for the Ricoh

7000 v1.2

Note: If you can’t choose the RGB profile from the drop down menu this could mean
the ICC profile is not yet installed on your pc or you have not restarted Corel since the
ICC profile was installed. Close and re-launch Corel.

Internal RGB Space: Select ‘Internal RGB – Fraser (1998)’ from the drop down menu.

Monitor: Select the ICC profile for your monitor. You may also check out the website of your monitor manufacture

for ICC profiles for your particular monitor. Download it and install it to C:\Windows\System\Color and restart your pc.

If in doubt use the Generic Profile

Scanner: Select your scanner ICC profile. If your scanner is not listed, check out the manufacturer’s website for your

scanners ICC profiles. Download it and install to C:\Windows\System\Color and restart your pc.

Generic Profile

Separations Printer: Not used or set to your current device if you print separations.

To save your settings: Click the + button to open the ‘Save Color Management Style’ window. Give your settings

an appropriate name and Click ‘OK’.

Corel’s colour space and printer ICC is now set to use the same space that the ICC profiles were created. You can now
work with an image as normal.
