ADJUSTMENTS

Attaching Velcro® Sanding Discs

See Figure 5.

Follow these steps to attach Velcro sanding discs.

1.

Unplug the sander.

2.

Align the holes in the sanding disc with the holes in
the hook and loop backing pad.

3.

Press the sanding disc against the backing pad as
firmly as possible.

Note: To provide for best adhesion, we recommend
that you clean the backing pad and the sanding disc
backing occasionally by brushing them lightly with a
small brush.

Attaching the Dust Bag

See Figure 6.

The dust bag provides a dust collection system for the
sander. Sanding dust is drawn up through the holes of the
sanding disc and collected in the dust bag during sanding.

Follow these steps to attach the dust bag.

1.

Unplug the sander.

2.

Fit the front tabs on the dust bag into the slots in the
front of the dust bag support.

3.

Press the the dust bag into the hole of the dust bag
support.

4.

Fit the elastic band on the dust bag over the tab of
the dust bag support.

5.

Slide the dust bag support onto the blower exhaust
using a slight twisting motion.

Cord Retainer

See Figure 6.

At the rear of the Plastic dust bag holder is a cord retainer.
The power cord may be pressed into this retainer to keep
the cord in place while the tool is in use.

Attaching the Sander to a Vacuum

See Figure 7.

Follow these steps to attach the sander to a vacuum.

1.

Unplug the sander.

2.

Remove the dust bag from the sander.

3.

Attach the vacuum adaptor to the blower exhaust on
the sander.

4.

Attach the vacuum hose to the vacuum adaptor.
