INTRODUCTION

DESCRIPTION

FRONT PANEL

VOLUME 1 - 3: Adjusts the level of signal from either Source Inputs 1 - 3 or Mic

Inputs 1 - 3. NOTE: Channel 1 RCA and Mic Inputs are mixed together, as are

Channels 2 and 3.

VOLUME 4 - 6: Adjusts the level of signal from Sources 4 - 6 to the selected

output bus(es).

NOTE: THE DESCRIPTION FOR ZONE 1 IS IDENTICAL TO THAT OF ZONE 2.

VOLUME: Adjusts the output level of the zone from -infinity (off) to a maximum of

+26 dB of gain.

BASS: Controls the amount of the low-frequency content of the zone signal.

TREBLE: Controls the amount of the high-frequency content of the zone signal.

Power switch: Turns the RM68 on and off.

REAR PANEL

Mic 1 - 3: Balanced XLR inputs for connection to dynamic or condenser micro-

phones.

Phantom Power: Two-pin header jumpers. From the factory, the jumpers are set

vertically, not connecting the phantom power. To connect phantom power to the

indicated mic channel, carefully pull the jumper off the pins and reconnect the

two adjacent pins by installing the jumper horizontally.

SOURCE INPUTS 1 - 6: Stereo RCA jacks. Channels 1 - 3 share busses and

volume controls with Mic inputs 1 - 3. Channels 4 - 6 are independent.

BUS INPUTS, ZONE 1 and ZONE 2: 1/4” TRS Stereo inputs for connection to

another RM68 Zone outputs using insert cables. This provides a way to connect

multiple RM68 units together and expand the input numbers.

ZONE1 and ZONE 2 OUT: Right and Left 1/4” TRS balanced output jacks.

TALKOVER SWITCH: Engages the talkover function for Mic Input 1. When

engaged, this is an automatic function that ducks the program material on the

Source inputs under the signal on Mic 1.
